The Survey Studio is a small, owner-led practice based in London and Hertfordshire, covering the South East. Your survey is personally undertaken by an MRICS Chartered Surveyor with 20 years' professional property experience and extensive residential development and construction experience — from new-build apartments to listed cottages and heavily extended family homes.

That combination of surveying qualification and hands-on construction knowledge matters most in the grey areas: the hairline crack that's cosmetic versus the one that isn't, the damp reading that's a leaking gutter rather than rising damp, the extension that looks right but may not be built right. We tell you which is which, and what it means for your offer.

Every inspection and every report is carried out personally — never passed to a subcontractor or an unqualified inspector. After your report lands, I'll call you to talk it through, and you can come back with questions afterwards at no extra cost.
